The Sellaronda

„Ski carousel joining four mountain passes of the Dolomites“

The most impressive and steep cliffs of the Sella massive reach a height of up to 3151 m with Piz Boè. The bizarre Sella Towers can be admired in the western part of the massive nearby Passo Sella. The term Sella Ronda describes a network of ski slopes that leads around the Sella Massive. This round tour includes 26 kilometres of slopes for a skiing experience in the most wonderful snow conditions.

In summer the Sella Ronda is a popular route for well trained mountain bikers. Every year many athletes and enthusiasts come here to celebrate the Sella Ronda Bike Day together. Another highlight is certainly the MTB Marathon Sella Ronda Hero which was organised for the first time in the summer of 2010. The tough, but fascinating race challenges the athletes’ forces on optionally 50 or 82 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 2600 or 4200 m has to be mastered.
